HTC USB Driver for Windows 8 (and possibly windows 7)

Hi all,

This is the Driver extracted from the HTC Sync install manager, to extract (although this is probably being read by someone who is trying to access the ADB) use 7Zip.

This driver may depend upon the HTC BMP USB Driver, although this can be attained from the HTC sync app. I did this because I am sick and tired of HTC’s inability to be able to produce simple software for Windows.

This should fix the following issues:

  • ADB devices not found
  • ADB device not showing
  • Eclipse disconnecting device
  • Eclipse android device manager
  • Device not appearing in ADM

I hope this helps anyone who stumbles across it!
